Santos honored in The Pillars Awards

A Department of Pediatrics team member garnered honors in The 2023 Pillars Awards, which recognize service and inclusion at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Winner of the Beacon Award is Dr. Roberto Santos, professor of pediatric infectious diseases. The Beacon Award honors any clinical or non-clinical faculty member with an academic designation or rank who demonstrates inclusive excellence in teaching, instruction, research, or clinical practice at UMMC.
